Psychomotor performance of students with learning disabilities in calculus. The learning disabilities LD present a challenge because they refer to students with good cognitive performance but low academic performance at school, which stands out for no apparent reason, since they do not have any mental disability, socio-economic deprivation, serious emotional disturbance or sensory loss. The extensive and diverse conceptual framework includes theoreticians that associate LD to low psychomotor performance. The aim of this study was to check whether there is a correlation between LD in calculus and psychomotor performance. Keywords: psychomotor skills; psychomotor competence; learning process.

Abstract: This study is geared towards determining the psychomotor development profile of school children between the ages of 8 and 10 in sports oriented schools functioning in partnership with the Municipal Institute of Sports and Recreation in the city of Armenia.
From a quantitative approach of descriptive nature the study examined a cross-section of the target population of school children boys and girls. The findings of this research indicate that male students' participation in sports oriented schools was greater both on a percentage scale and as far as time spent on practice is concerned.
Male psychomotor development compared to female psychomotor development, correlates with better results obtained in tests of psychomotor function, especially in regard to factors such as balance, body notion, structuring of temporary space, global and refined praxis.
